FRC Stewardship Success

We are pleased to announce that the Clwyd Pension Fund (the Fund) has successfully retained its signatory status to the Financial Reporting Council’s (FRC) UK Stewardship Code for 2024 and is currently awaiting the outcome of its 2025 submission.

The rigorous stewardship standards set out in the ‘UK Stewardship Code 2020’ (the Code) seek to ensure responsible allocation, management, and oversight of capital to generate long-term value for clients and beneficiaries, leading to sustainable benefits for the economy, environment and society. The Fund has proudly been a signatory of the Code since 2022.

By maintaining its voluntary signatory status, the Fund reaffirms its commitment to stewardship and transparency for its stakeholders.

Looking ahead, the Fund intends to report in accordance with the forthcoming ‘UK Stewardship Code 2026’, continuing its dedication to evolving best practises in responsible investment.
