Welcome to the Clwyd Pension Fund On line Pension Forecasters. Use this to estimate your retirement pension and lump sum (if applicable). Your benefits are based on your final pay and your membership and when you retire, you will get a portion of your final pay in pension benefits. The longer you've been a member, the bigger the portion.

If you joined the Scheme before 1st April 2008, work full time and have always worked full time, please use the full time member calculator.

If you joined the Scheme on or after 1st April 2008, work full time and have always worked full time, please use the full time member calculator.

If you joined the Scheme before 1st April 2008, and you are or ever have worked part time hours please use the part time member calculator.

If you joined the Scheme on or after 1st April 2008, and you are or ever have worked part time hours please use the part time member calculator.

Please note

From 5 December 2005 onwards, the LGPS recognises that if you have entered into a Civil Partnership, the surviving civil partner of a deceased LGPS member will be entitled to pension benefits, on the same basis and calculated in the same way as a spouse’s benefits, but taking account only of the member’s membership accrued after 5 April 1988.

Similarly, from 1 April 2008 onwards, the LGPS recognises that if you have a cohabiting partner, the surviving cohabiting partner of a deceased LGPS member will be entitled to pension benefits so long as you have nominated them to receive a pension. The pension will be calculated on the same basis as a civil partner’s pension, by taking account only of the member’s membership accrued after 5 April 1988.

The calculator cannot unfortunately, take into account every personal circumstance. Therefore, if you tick ‘married’ the ‘spouse’s’ benefits calculated may be incorrect if you have entered into a civil partnership or have a cohabiting partner. For a more accurate estimate of these benefits, please contact the Pensions Section.
