3. When do I get an increase to my pension?
Pensions are increased each April (the first Monday on or after 6th April) and the rise is equal to the Retail Price Index (RPI) for the previous September.

Please note that unless your pension is an ill health pension, you will not receive any increase until age 55 although the accumulated percentage between the time you retired and age 55 will be applied at age 55.
